Pamela Hornsby-Irvin has an Associates Degree in Applied Science/Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Project Management.  She is the author of the books “Be Yourself”, “My Brown Skin” and “HOODIE”, the latter of which has been made into “HOODIE” The Movie and will hit the screen in September, 2019.
















She is a former substitute teacher for the St. Louis Charter Schools, St. Louis Public Schools, and Head Start. Her love for children's books began while teaching pre-school age children and her passion for instructing children has become a lifelong endeavor, educating the little ones by utilizing a multitude of learning media. She understands the relevance of children learning to read and developing advanced vocabularies at an early age. 

She is a mother and grandmother born and raised in St. Louis, MO., the youngest of four 
children. She is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, The National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi, The St. Louis Black Authors Reading Initiative, The African American Authors Literacy Awareness Campaign (AAALAC) and The St. Louis Suburban Council of International Reading 
Association.

In March, 2018, Pamela founded the international radio show “Itsy Bitsy 
Bookworms Radio – Where We Are ALL About The Kids”.  Her show broadcasts in 170 countries, on all social media platforms, and on Roku.  
Pamela wrote an article in the Southsider Newspa per distributed in St. Louis and the surrounding areas. 


She is an entrepreneur and a well sought after and respected motivational speaker.
